Our freestanding Jib Cranes are designed in accordance with BS 7333:1990, combining robust construction with modern lightweight design. Every crane is supplied with a durable powder-coated finish as standard, with galvanised and stainless steel options available for demanding environments.
These floor mounted jib cranes are fixed directly to your existing concrete floor using chemical resin anchors (sold separately), creating a strong and stable lifting solution without the need for overhead support.
NOTE: Before ordering, it’s important to confirm your floor is suitable for installation. Please check individual product specifications for base plate dimensions and floor requirements.
With a slewing angle of 270-degrees, we also supply adjustable slewing limits which can be fitted at a small cost to limit the angle of rotation and avoid accidental damage to local objects, loads, and people.
Why Choose A Free Standing Jib Crane?
These are one of the most flexible lifting solutions available, because they don’t rely on existing building steelwork to be installed. This means they can be used almost anywhere with a suitable concrete floor, making them perfect for facilities that don’t want or can’t have a full overhead crane system.
Our free standing jib cranes are particularly valuable in busy workshops and production areas where space is limited. With up to 270 degrees rotation, a single crane can cover a large working radius while keeping the footprint compact. The result is faster lifting, safer handling, and improved productivity across your site.
