Sack Trucks
WHAT IS A SACK TRUCK?
A sack truck, also known as a hand truck or hand trolley, is an L-shaped hand cart that is used for moving boxes or other heavy objects. Sack trucks come in a few different varieties, and so, whilst it is more common for them to feature only two wheels, there are variations that feature 4 wheels, or specialised wheels for moving objects up stairs.
WHAT ARE SACK TRUCKS USED FOR?
Sack trucks are used to make transporting heavy objects such as boxes or furniture easier. A sack truck typically uses leverage and handles to balance weight over a pair of wheels. They are typically used in warehouses, delivery services, or in other industries where moving heavy objects is frequently required.
HOW MUCH CAN A SACK TRUCK HOLD?
Sack trucks are generally categorised into light, medium, and heavy-duty models, each of which has a different top-end weight that it can hold. Typically different sack trucks will have a weight listing attached to their unique model, which will indicate how much weight they can hold, with the most heavy-duty of models being able to carry 300KG.
