Hydraulic Presses
Hydraulic presses are essential tools in a wide range of industrial settings due to their power, versatility, and ability to easily handle tasks that require high pressure and force.
Hydraulic presses - like the ones in our range - use hydraulic pressure to generate a large amount of compressive force. A hydraulic press will apply a small amount of force to a small piston, which is then transmitted through a hydraulic fluid to a larger piston, multiplying the force and enabling the press to exert a very high pressure on a small area.
HOW DO THEY WORK?
Typically, a press have two cylinders (one large one small) connected by a pipe filled with hydraulic fluid (usually oil). A small force is applied to the smaller piston, which displaces the fluid. The fluid them transmits the force to a larger piston. Since the surface area of the larger piston is bigger, the press multiplies the force, allowing it to exert immense pressure.
