What is an Electric Pallet Truck?
Electric pallet trucks are useful in a vast amount of environments such warehouses, elevators, or workshops. They're particularly useful when loving and moving heavy loads, especially at an incline or decline over long distances. Typically, electric pallet trucks provide the user to maneuver quickly and safely around tight corners and spaces. They're perfect for an environment where efficiency and practicality are paramount in your chosen environment. Using an electric pallet jack does not require you to have a license, but you are strongly advised to receive proper training before using one.
The Battery
Boasting a huge battery capacity, if you were to purchase a spare battery this electric pallet truck would be in operation for up to 24 hours! Switching the battery out is hassle free - it takes only 6 seconds to take the dead battery out and replace it with a freshly charged one.
Chassis of Steel
A lot of your average pallet trucks that have been in service a good year or two you'll notice some deformities in the steel or even cracked/broken plastic components. The whole chassis is manufactured with solid materials to prevent any bending or early even worse - preemptive condemnation of the electric pallet jack.
Ergonomics & Tech
Making sure your operator is comfortable with using an electric pallet truck was a top priority when designing this. Ensuring the controls are not only easy to use, but efficient. Everything that needs to be reached where the user is stood is accessible, preventing any hazards that may be possible with other pallet trucks. For example, you can use the electric travel when the handle is in it's upright position - perfect for manoeuvring round tight spaces. It also has integrated CanBus technology, allowing the user to operate in fast and slow speed modes for difference operator experience levels. Unlike other electric pallet trucks, ours has powered lifting and lowering, reducing time and labour when the user has to usually pump the pallet up and down - Trust us, once you experience this you will never want to go back to manual lifting/lowering!
"Electric Pallet Trucks take more maintenance" - WRONG
Yes - some electric pallet trucks take some if not a lot of maintenance, but not ours! The LES Electric Pallet Truck runs a 1000W brushless motor, so there is no need to replace it in 12-15 months like the other ones you're used to. Our truck will save you time, and most importantly - money in the long run!
Do you need to LOLER Electric Pallet Trucks?
The simple answer is yes - they require a minimum 12 monthly thorough examination by a competent person like a lifting engineer.
Do you need a license to use an Electric Pallet Truck?
In the UK and Ireland, there is no legal requirement forcing you to have a license. However, is it advised that you receive training from a competent person before using a piece of machinery like our LES electric pallet jack truck.
