MAINTENANCE
Before use, always inspect the plough and check for damage to the blade, mounting hardware or other components. Make sure that all fasteners are tight and the Snow Plough is properly aligned on the forklift. Avoid overloading the plough as doing that can damage it and make it unsafe to operate.
Ensure you're using the right Snow Plough for the job as there are a variety of ploughs, each with their own unique uses. Consider the amount of snow to be cleared, the size of the area and the weight of the snow. Using a smaller blade length to clear a large heap of snow could cause serious damage to your Snow Plough
SAFETY
Be aware of your surroundings when operating the Snow Plough. Drive at a safe speed and avoid sudden starts and stops. Be watchful when ploughing near power lines or other overhead hazards. Clear snow away from the edge of the road or pavement. This will help to prevent snow from building up and blocking visibility. Always use the Snow Plough in line with the gradient of the road surface. This will help to prevent the forklift from tipping over
