William Hackett’s range of SS-C4 QP chain hoists are specifically designed for marine environments.
Manufactured here in the UK, the SS-C4 subsea chain hoist is available in an extensive range of working load limits – 500kg to 50 tonnes – with lifting heights from 1m through to 15m.
Designed to BS EN13157:2004 and AI:2009, they boast an operating temperature range from -20°C to +120°C, ideal for constantly changing environments, while the marine painted finish (Akzonobel Interpon D1010 Premium) is corrosion resistant for 1000 hours according to DIN EN ISO 9227.
The light load capability is tested and certified at 2% of the chain hoist rated capacity, while each unit is proof tested to a minimum of 1.25 times the WLL (dependant on capacity).
Built with the innovative Quad Pawl technology, that is endurance tested to twice the industry norm, stainless steel fitting are used throughout with all brake components corrosion protected.
For additional safety, hooks are fitted with heavy-duty cast steel latches for optimal robustness, while the unique hand chain joiner provides total security.
