Liftking 4,000kg Duplex Webbing Sling, 1m to 10m EWL
The Liftking 4,000kg / 4 tonne duplex webbing sling is a heavy-duty flat polyester lifting sling for fabrication, steelwork, construction lifting, machinery handling and plant installation. With a 4,000kg working load limit, reinforced becket eyes and a 7:1 factor of safety, it offers strong lifting performance while remaining lighter and easier to handle than many chain or wire rope alternatives.
This 4 tonne web sling is manufactured from flat woven 100% polyester and colour coded grey for quick WLL identification. The wide bearing surface helps spread load pressure and reduce the risk of marking when compared with harder lifting media. Each sling is manufactured to EN1492-1:2000, certified to TUV and GS standard, and supplied with a certificate of conformity.
Common Uses for a 4 Tonne Webbing Sling
This 4,000kg duplex sling is suited to lifting heavier fabricated parts, structural steel, construction materials, machinery frames, plant equipment and workshop loads. It is a practical choice for contractors and engineers who need a higher capacity sling that remains flexible and easy to position.
Typical applications include structural steel handling, machinery movement, lifting fabricated assemblies, plant installation and industrial site work where a softer lifting surface is preferred. The polyester webbing helps reduce the risk of surface marking when used correctly with suitable edge protection.
Lifting Hitches and Capacity Guidance
Straight Lift
Suitable for vertical lifting up to the rated WLL shown on the sling label.
Basket Hitch
Can be used for supported lifts where the load is balanced and the sling angle is suitable.
Choke Hitch
Can reduce lifting capacity. Always confirm the correct capacity using the sling label, lifting plan and load chart.
LOLER Inspection and Safe Use
Under LOLER, lifting accessories such as webbing slings should be thoroughly examined by a competent person every 6 months, unless a written examination scheme states otherwise. A pre-use visual inspection should also be completed before each lift.
Inspect for cuts, abrasion, damaged stitching, heat damage, chemical contamination, fibre damage, missing labels or signs of overload. Always protect the sling from sharp edges and abrasive contact points.
