Pewag Chain Slings

Pewag chain slings make up a big part of the range, with options for all sorts of lifting jobs.

We stock single, 2 leg, 3 leg and 4 leg assemblies, with different chain sizes and working load limits available depending on what you need to lift.

You’ll find both Grade 12 and stainless steel Grade 6 Pewag chain slings, including options for lighter loads right through to much heavier industrial lifting.

If you’re comparing brands or looking beyond Pewag, you can also browse our full range of chain slings and lifting chains.

Links, Components & Lifting Points

Alongside complete Pewag chain slings, we also stock individual parts for building or maintaining lifting assemblies.

This includes:

  • Master links and master link assemblies

  • Connex connecting links

  • Transition links

  • Wire rope master link assemblies

  • Pewag Prolift Alpha lifting points in metric and UNC thread options

That makes it easier to source matching parts if you’re replacing a worn component or putting together a new lifting setup.

Choosing the Right Pewag Equipment

There’s a lot of choice here, so it helps to narrow things down first:

  • Chain grade - Check whether Grade 6 stainless steel or Grade 12 is right for the job

  • Number of legs - Choose between 1, 2, 3 or 4 leg slings depending on the load and lifting points

  • Chain size - This affects the working load limit and overall sling weight

  • Working load limit - Always make sure the sling or component is rated for the load

  • Existing components - If you’re replacing part of a sling, check the new component is compatible with what’s already there

  • Environment - Stainless steel may be the better option where corrosion resistance is important

If you’re not sure which Pewag chain or chain sling setup you need, speak to the LES team and we’ll help you work it out.
