Liftking 20,000kg Duplex Webbing Sling, 4m to 10m EWL
The Liftking 20,000kg / 20 tonne duplex webbing sling is a very high capacity flat woven polyester lifting sling built for demanding heavy lift, crane and rigging operations. With a 20,000kg working load limit, reinforced becket eyes and a 7:1 factor of safety, it is designed for specialist lifting contractors, offshore operators, civil engineering teams and heavy industrial users.
This 20 tonne web sling is manufactured from 100% polyester and colour coded orange for quick WLL identification on site. Despite its very high lifting capacity, it remains more flexible and easier to handle than many chain sling alternatives, helping improve rigging efficiency on complex heavy lifts. Each sling is manufactured to EN1492-1:2000, certified to TUV and GS standard, and supplied with a certificate of conformity.
Common Uses for a 20 Tonne Webbing Sling
This 20,000kg duplex webbing sling is suited to large structural steel assemblies, heavy plant, major fabricated components, offshore equipment, crane operations and specialist heavy lift projects. It is intended for demanding applications where high working load capacity, load protection and safe handling are essential.
Typical applications include heavy crane lifts, large machinery movement, civil engineering projects, industrial installations, offshore lifting and handling major steel fabrications. The wide polyester webbing surface helps distribute pressure across the load when correctly selected and used with suitable protection.
Lifting Hitches and Capacity Guidance
Straight Lift
Suitable for vertical lifting up to the rated WLL shown on the sling label.
Basket Hitch
Can be used for properly planned lifts where the load is balanced, supported and the sling angle is suitable.
Choke Hitch
Can reduce the effective working load limit. Always refer to the sling label, hitch factor and lifting plan before use.
LOLER Inspection and Safe Use
As a lifting accessory, this webbing sling should be thoroughly examined by a competent person every 6 months under LOLER, unless a written scheme of examination specifies otherwise. A pre-use visual inspection should also be carried out before every lift.
Check for cuts, tears, abrasion, damaged stitching, chemical contamination, heat damage, missing or illegible labels, knots, fibre damage or any sign of overload. Do not use the sling on sharp edges or abrasive surfaces without suitable protection. Heavy lifting operations should always be planned and carried out by competent personnel.
