COVID-19 Business Update

With nearly all businesses forced to close due to governmental COVID-19 'lockdown' restrictions, LES is one of the few key businesses deemed essential and able to continue trading.

As part of this, we have assessed our current risk to staff as well as customers and as a result, have decided that we are currently not accepting Click & Collect orders. We appreciate that this is inconvenient but we are committed to protecting the people of the world from transmission of the COVID-19 Coronavirus.

Deliveries of nearly all items are running as usual with just a tiny number of our suppliers closing (we'll let you know right away if this affects your order, but we must stress this will only affect a tiny amount of customer orders) and our couriers are running as normal albeit with Accepted At Delivery Point (AADP) being the standard offering with most of our logistics partners, this means drivers will not ask recipients to sign for or operate any electronic proof of delivery hardware, the goods, once safely offloaded are simply declared as 'AADP' by the driver. This helps enforce social distancing and endorse the government's message to remain 2meters apart from anyone else at all times.

Suppliers & Stakeholder Message- if you are a supplier or a stakeholder of LES in any way I would like to take this opportunity to assure you that Lifting Equipment Store and Kingsway Corporation (our holding company) are fortunate to be in a very stable and solid position, you can be assured that we are financially sound, if you are a supplier and extend a line of credit to us- you will continue to be paid, if you are a customer and you are considering placing an order with us I can assure you your goods will continue to ship and our phone lines, emails and letters will be answered as normal.

Although we have superb contingency plans in place and we are stable at this time, what we cannot be certain about is the future for this pandemic outbreak that is causing countries to lockdown, if we are forced to make any changes to our current services or product ranges an update will be published here, you can also stay up to date live by following us on Twitter @LiftingStore.

We wish you all the best of health and safety during this outbreak- we can beat this together by staying apart.

Will Dunn, CEO
