LES Supply & Install Crane In Dammam, Saudi Arabia

National Galvanising Company located in Dammam 2nd Industrial City, Saudi Arabia were kitting out their warehouse when they connected to our KSA office with a requirement for an overhead crane to help manage heavy loads within their storage area.

After a final consultation meeting with our international technical team, NGC knew they were in good hands since we boast over three decades of experience in technical sales and installations of overhead cranes within the MiddleEast. 
LES supplied a full 5tonne SWF Blackline Crane Kit and air freighted it directly to Dammam for an urgent build, whilst the bridge beam was sourced locally to simplify logistics. Assembled and fabricated on the ground in Saudi Arabia at our partner factory, the single girder bridge was swiftly completed to meet the demands of the customer. 

Enabling travel up to 60m of the workshop, the bridge beam spans 10500mm and is located in the middle bay of the storage warehouse to facilitate efficient handling, loading and unloading steel for deliveries and collections from ground up to a height of 8m via an SWF four-fall wire rope hoist. Safe operation was achieved via a radio remote control system which is standard issue with all Blackline crane kits meaning that the operator can remain at a safe distance from the load should it be oversized, this prevents awkward operation of a wired pendant and allows the operator to walk around the load to keep a close eye whilst in motion. 

The system is efficiently fed via a busbar conductor type power supply along the full 60m shop and a caterpillar type track along the bridge to provide power and control from the control panel to the hoist and end carriages. 

The full crane system was commissioned in the Second Industrial City over the course of two days by our technical engineers with a successful load test to conclude a professional installation.
